We have an exciting opportunity for a Twilight Nurse to join our Healthcare team at HM Dovegate, a category B Prison located near Uttoxeter in Staffordshire.

In this role, you'll be working with a multi-disciplinary team that will support you and help you succeed.

The working hours are:

Mon Flexible start time between 14:00 - 17:00 until 22:00.

Sat 13:00 until 20:00

Salary: This position is full-time, you'll receive an annual salary between £33,232 - £40,211 per annum - depending on experience.

Candidates are required to have a legal right to work in the UK and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.

As a Registered Nurse, you will work within the Reception Team and your responsibilities will vary. You will:

• Deliver a nurse-led service and prevent hospital admissions
• Undertake medication rounds, dispense controlled medication, attend emergency response situations, assess patients, and undertake reception screening
• Deliver non-judgemental care
• Build strong links with our partners and stakeholders

• Registered Nurse (Adult or Mental Health)
• Current professional qualification (NMC)
• Understanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working
• A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
• Understanding of clinical governance, health and safety, QOF, EBP, and national standards

As a Primary Care Nurse, you will work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse-led service and prevent hospital admissions. You will use your skills and knowledge to deliver nurse-led clinics to your patient group whilst being supported by a multi-disciplinary team.
