Job summary
A local motor dealer in the Greater London area is seeking a skilled Commercial / LCV Vehicle Technician. The role involves diagnosing faults, conducting repairs, and ensuring high standards of customer service. Candidates must be fully qualified, hold at least an NVQ Level 3, and have experience in vehicle diagnostics. This position offers a collaborative work environment with a focus on professional development.
Qualifications
- Fully qualified Vehicle Technician.
- Qualified to a minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
- Experienced in Vehicle Diagnostics.
- Appropriate driving licence for class of vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Investigate and diagnose faults, reporting findings.
- Liaise with Service Advisors regarding work carried out.
- Carry out all servicing and repairs to a high standard.
- Maintain thorough and up-to-date product knowledge.

My motor dealer garage in the Crayford / Dartford area is looking to recruit a Commercial / LCV Vehicle Technician.
Commercial / LCV Vehicle Technician Role
Crayford / Dartford, Kent
Negotiable depending on experience
You will be welcomed into a friendly team and have the opportunity to work with an exciting product. A large part of the Commercial Vehicle Technician position involves :
- Investigate and diagnose faults, reporting findings to the Workshop Controller / Foreman.
- Liaise with Service Advisors regarding work carried out, to be communicated to the customer. Speak to customers if required.
- Carry out all servicing and repairs to a high standard with an effective use of time and in line with Customer Handling Standards.
- Maintaining thorough and up-to-date product knowledge.
- Maintaining exceptionally high customer service levels that lead to customer loyalty and referrals.
- Maintaining good housekeeping standards and orderly administration of your work.
As a LCV / Commercial Technician :
- You will be a fully qualified Vehicle Technician
- Qualified to a minimum NVQ Level 3 of equivalent
- Experienced in Vehicle Diagnostics
- Appropriate driving licence for class of vehicle
