Job description

Role Overview

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King's Lynn is looking for a hard‑working and enthusiastic individual to support the work of the Radiology Department and assist Radiologists and Radiographers in performing a range of radiological procedures, including Ultrasound, X‑ray examinations, Nuclear Medicine, MRI and CT.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of patient care within the Radiology Department.
• Assist with housekeeping duties, e.g., cleaning specialist equipment.
• Help move patients, beds and trolleys; support radiographers in undertaking radiographic procedures; assist with moving and handling and help prepare patients for their examinations.
• Book and cancel patient appointments as required.
• Collect and return patients to parts of the hospital as needed.

Working hours

Hours are worked within a 7‑day service model and may include night shifts.
