You will work collaboratively with an assistant psychologist and lead psychological input across the entire inpatient journey, from admission to discharge. This is a highly impactful role that supports both service users and staff.

Carry out comprehensive psychological assessments, formulations, and evidence-based interventions tailored to individual needs.

Lead and contribute to formulation meetings, supporting MDT care planning.

Facilitate reflective practice groups to enhance staff well‑being and promote high‑quality patient care.

Provide consultation and clinical supervision to colleagues, contributing to a supportive team culture.

Liaise closely with community mental health teams to ensure continuity of care upon discharge.

Contribute to service development, quality improvement, and the optimisation of psychological provision across the ward.
