A Learning Support Assistant is needed at an All-Boys Grammar Secondary School & Sixth Form in South West London.

This Learning Support Assistant position can be part or full time and be fixed term, in the first instance.

If appointed as a Learning Support Assistant, you will be required to support SEN pupils with ASC, ADHD and Physical Impairments in small groups, as well as on a 1:1 basis.

The team are looking for a Learning Support Assistant that can demonstrate the ability to effectively work as part of a team, communicate appropriately with parents of pupils and work cohesively with class teachers.

The rates of pay for this Learning Support Assistant role will be between 82.14 and 100 a day, depending on the qualifications and experience of each applicant.

The School

A Grammar School & Sixth Form located in the London Borough of Kingston upon Thames.

They are an all-boys school from Years 7 to 11 and has a mixed Sixth Form.

The history of the school dates back to 1638.

During Ofsted's last inspection, the school was rated as 'Good'.

There are currently just over 1400 pupils on enrolment.

A number of former pupils have gone on to become actors, musicians, politicians and sportsmen.

Requirements

Applications are welcome if you're a recent Graduate or experienced Learning Support Assistant.

You're also encouraged to apply if you're a British trained Learning Support Assistant or overseas trained Learning Support Assistant.

• Right to work in the UK
• Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
• UK Bachelor's Degree or an overseas equivalent
• Experience of working with children/young people or as a Learning Support Assistant in UK schools
