Job summary
A language training company is seeking a Finnish Language teacher for one-to-one lessons in Cambridge. This freelance part-time position requires a native Finnish speaker or a teacher with a relevant degree and experience. Classes will be tailored to a beginner adult student's needs, with a flexible schedule and hourly rate negotiable based on qualifications. Candidates must live within 20 miles of Cambridge.
Qualifications
- Must be a native Finnish speaker or hold a teaching degree.
- Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter is required.
- Must have a valid working visa.
Responsibilities
- Teach Finnish language to an adult student at their home.
- Create a flexible schedule based on availability.
- Conduct a total of 60 hours of lessons over 30 sessions.

Students are either in-company or self-funded who need to learn a language at their office or their home for work, family or travel reasons. Some details about the course:
One of our clients located in Cambridge would like to have one-to-one GENERAL Finnishtuition.
Thisstudent(beginnerlevel)wishes to have classesat his home in Cambridge.
She would like to have a 60-hour course(30x 2-hour lessons).
Classes should be held once per week, either on Mondays anytime or Wednesdays morning or midday.
Information about this student:
Student's age: adult
Current language level: beginner
Motivation: her mother was Finnish, and she would like to connect with her cultural heritage.
Ideal teacher should:
- Be a native FinnishspeakerOR hold a teaching degree
- Have experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter
- Have a valid working visa
- Live up to 20 miles from the client´slocation.
Location of the classes and schedule could be flexible based on your and the client’s availability. The hourly rate is negotiable depending on qualifications and experience. This is a freelance part-time position and we are not able to sponsor your visa.
