A leading logistics firm is seeking a Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join their team in Coulsdon. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance of stock, compliance with safety regulations, and ensuring high standards of customer service. Applicants must hold a valid counterbalance forklift license. The position offers 28 days paid annual leave, weekly pay, and additional benefits.

Aufgaben
- Unload and check accuracy of all incoming stock deliveries.
- Carry out daily checks on the forklift truck and other mechanical equipment.
- Maintain a high level of stock security and carry out security checks.
- Deal with returns from customers professionally.
- Carry out daily/weekly stock checks.
- Comply with company policy on damage controls.
- Maintain general housekeeping duties within the warehouse.
- Participate as an effective team member.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety Regulations.
The Best Connection has a client that is looking for a Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join its team in Coulsdon.
Monday to Friday. 7.30am to 17.00pm
£14.50 ph plus holiday pay
The Counterbalance Forklift Driver is responsible for effective stock maintenance of incoming and outgoing stock, complying with the company's health and safety regulations while providing high standards of customer service.
The use of Mechanical Handling Equipment and some manual lifting will be involved and as such you will need the ability to demonstrate the highest level of professionalism towards safety.
- To unload and check accuracy of all incoming stock deliveries in line with the Health & Safety offloading procedures and company policy.
- To carry out daily checks on the forklift truck and other mechanical equipment in accordance reporting all defects to the Depot Manager.
- To maintain a high level of stock security and carry out the required security checks on all outgoing orders and deliveries.
- To deal with returns from customers in a courteous, professional and knowledgeable way.
- To carry out daily/weekly stock checks according to procedure, ensuring an accurate computer stock file.
- To understand and comply with company policy regarding damage controls and replacement part ordering.
- To maintain general housekeeping duties within the warehouse, stock rotation and product group, cleanliness and tidiness.
- To participate as an effective and willing team member to achieve individual and team goals.
- To ensure a safe and comfortable environment is maintained for customers and employees within the depot.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety Regulations whilst in the depot.
Please ensure you have safety boots and Hi-Vis.
