Job summary
A leading employment agency is seeking a Warehouse Operative in Sleaford to join an experienced team. This role involves operating a counterbalance forklift, conducting inspections of incoming materials, and ensuring the cleanliness of the warehouse. The ideal candidate will have an accredited forklift license and a positive, collaborative attitude. Responsibilities
- Operate forklift counterbalance to load and unload goods.
- Inspect incoming materials and report damages.
- Check items against delivery notes and for damages.
- Maintain cleanliness of site and warehouse.
Skills
£13.13ph Sleaford Temporary with the potential to become Permanent.
Our client is looking for a warehouse operative with counterbalance forklift to join their experienced team on a potential Temporary to Permanent basis for the right person.
- Operating a forklift Counterbalance to load and unload
- Goods‑in – carrying out inspections of incoming materials and checking for and reporting damages
- Goods‑out – checking items for damages against customer requirements, checking details against delivery note
- Checking paperwork, using scanners
- Keeping site and warehouse clean and tidy
- Up‑to‑date forklift counterbalance licence, accredited (not in house) and experience within any of the following warehouse / goods in / goods out / materials handling / yard / stores work previously.
- Good fitness is essential, a "Can do" attitude and the ability to work in a team
Hours are Monday to Friday 6.00am - 2.00pm / 1pm - 9pm rotating weekly shifts with earlier finish Fridays – 39 paid hours.
