Architectural Technical Lead / Fire Safety Architect - Data Centres - London

Salary: £75,000 - £95,000 per annum

• Act as subject matter expert in architecture and fire safety design across full data centre campuses.
• Review and peer-review consultant drawings, models, and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with international design standards, local building codes, and fire safety regulations.
• Identify and recommend value engineering opportunities.
• Escalate design or fire safety issues that impact programme delivery.
• Deliver design review reports, engineering bulletins, and structured feedback.
• Collaborate with consultants, project managers, and contractors on technical solutions.
• Use CAD, BIM, and BIM360/ACC for validation, coordination, and documentation.

• Fully qualified and ARB-registered architect (or equivalent).
• Proven experience in data centre technical design and fire safety compliance.
• Strong understanding of architectural and engineering standards.
• Skilled in technical design review and risk identification.
• Proficiency in CAD, BIM, and collaboration platforms.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with senior stakeholders.
