Job summary
A luxury tour company based in Botswana is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage financial operations across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of hospitality accounting experience and be well-versed in Botswana tax laws. Responsibilities include preparing management accounts, processing payroll, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to work in a vibrant industry.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in hospitality or tourism accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software like Pastel, Xero, or QuickBooks.
- Willingness to travel periodically to remote lodge locations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records for all lodges and the central office.
- Process monthly payroll for head office and lodge staff.
- Prepare and submit VAT, PAYE, and Company Tax returns.
- Conduct internal audits at lodge sites.
