The ideal candidate will have a mechanical or agricultural background, a full driving license, and be willing to travel frequently. This role offers a salary of €40,000 plus overtime and full travel expenses covered, along with excellent training opportunities.

Service Technician – Agricultural Machinery (Ireland & UK) - €40,000 + Overtime + 10% Increase After 1 Year + Full Travel Expenses
Location: 50% Ireland / 50% UK, Bristol
This is an opportunity for a hands‑on individual with mechanical or agricultural experience who enjoys travel and variety in their work. You will spend approximately 50% of your time at the company’s main manufacturing, assembly and service facility in Ireland, and 50% in the UK (Bristol region) carrying out servicing, installation and operator training for customers. All product and technical training will be provided in Ireland before you begin field work.
- Service, maintain and repair specialist biodegradable film‑laying machines
- Support customer training and machine demonstrations in the field
- Provide technical assistance and machine setup on client sites
- Work closely with the Irish manufacturing and service teams
- Travel regularly between Ireland and the UK (typically 2‑week rotations)
Our client is a leading manufacturer and service provider of specialist agricultural machinery, focusing on innovative biodegradable film‑laying machines used on farms across Ireland and the UK. Renowned for their quality engineering and strong customer support, they are now seeking a Service Technician to join their team due to continued growth and seasonal demand.
- Mechanical or agricultural background (ideally with hands‑on machinery experience)
- Practical, motivated and able to work independently
- Willingness to travel frequently and stay away from home
- Full driving licence essential
- Strong problem‑solving and communication skills
- Base Salary: €40,000 per annum
- 10% salary uplift after 1 year
- Overtime available
- Service van, tools, laptop, and mobile phone provided
- All travel, accommodation and expenses fully covered
- Two‑week summer shutdown in July/August
