Where will you be working?

At M Group Telecom, we enable and enhance telecom networks, playing a lead role in delivering our tech-enabled future. We provide full network cycle services for fixed, private, and mobile operators.

Private networks - We identify the best technology, manage assets, and refresh systems. With 24/7 network operations, we ensure smooth functioning, along with comprehensive repair and maintenance services to keep everything in top shape.

What will you be doing?

• Applying fibre and networking knowledge to deliver projects across customer sites, ensuring health & safety and quality standards are met.
• Conducting end-to-end circuit testing, telecom equipment installation, and commissioning.
• Collaborating with project engineers to plan safe deployment and escalating incidents to H&S or Operations Managers as needed.
• Performing fault analysis, site surveys, scheduled audits, and overseeing contractors under RAMS.
• Completing training to maintain certifications, reporting on vehicle, tool, and PPE conditions, and supporting cross-departmental tasks.
• Acting as Principal Contractor and Competent Person, recommending improvements and cost savings where possible.

What You’ll Bring

You will bring problem-solving skills and apply LAN/WAN internetworking knowledge (e.g., Ethernet cabling and pre-staged devices). Tasks include installation, glanding, termination, and testing of SWA power cables, Cat5/Cat6, Belden, fibre optic, and copper cabling. You will install and commission racks, chargers, and telecom equipment, support PDH/SDH systems (Alcatel, Avara, Nokia, etc.), and configure routers, switches, and muxes. Your work will involve telecom testing, fault finding, and delivering excellent communication and customer service.
