Background

We are building our team and invite you to explore Space with us! We are looking for a Junior Mechanical Engineer to join and drive our digital payload.

What you will be doing

  • Extensive labs bring-up and proof of design efficiently implemented in accordance with system requirements.
  • Collaborate with multiple R&D and Production groups: HW, System, NPI and system validation.
  • Participate in mechanical design aspects of Spaceborne Computers and Payloads.
  • Participate in multiple early design concepts while working in fast-paced product development cycles.
  • Take part in research of ground-breaking technologies, materials, and processes with other groups to bring in creative ideas that solve ever growing needs.

Requirements

  • B.Sc. or higher in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience in electro-mechanical product design, including PCB/PCBA design.
  • Hands-on experience with 3D CAD - SolidWorks an advantage.
  • Highly motivated, team player driven to achieve high quality results.
  • Experience with mechanical and thermal simulation tools.
