As part of their continued expansion, we are helping them find two passionate Assistant Ecological Consultants — one to be based at their scenic North Aston office, and the other at their vibrant Corby location.

This is a brilliant opportunity for early-career ecologists who are ready to grow their expertise and make a real-world impact as part of a friendly, knowledgeable, and values-led team.

As an Assistant Ecological Consultant, you'll support meaningful environmental projects while developing your technical and consultancy skills. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Assisting with ecological field surveys and preparation (equipment setup, access, data collection, and analysis).
2. Supporting the production of technical reports and client documentation.
3. Contributing to client communication, project research, and desk-based studies.
4. Working closely with your line/project manager to carry out key project tasks.

This is a hands-on role with real variety — ideal for someone with energy, initiative, and a love for the natural world.

You'll bring:

1. A degree (or vocational equivalent) in ecology, environmental science, or a related subject.
2. Some practical experience in the ecological/environmental sector (e.g., volunteering, internships, or employment).
3. A genuine enthusiasm for nature and sustainability.
4. A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel for surveys.

1. Basic knowledge or interest in plants and field botany.
2. Experience working within a team or collaborative environment.
3. Confidence with written communication and report contributions.
