Duties as Teaching Assistant:
- Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality, engaging lessons
- Assist in the preparation and organisation of classroom resources
- Provide one-to-one support or small group interventions for pupils who need extra help
- Help manage classroom behaviour and encourage positive learning attitudes
- Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to the teacher
- Assist with general classroom duties and help maintain a positive, welcoming learning environment
Ideal Teaching Assistant:
- Has experience working with children, ideally in a school setting (although this is not essential)
- Holds or is working towards a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Is enthusiastic, caring, and able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Has a passion for education and supporting children to achieve their best
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills and can work well in a team
- Has a positive and flexible approach to tasks and challenges as a Teaching Assistant.
