Job description

They are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their dynamic team. Duties as Teaching Assistant:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality, engaging lessons
  • Assist in the preparation and organisation of classroom resources
  • Provide one-to-one support or small group interventions for pupils who need extra help
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and encourage positive learning attitudes
  • Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to the teacher
  • Assist with general classroom duties and help maintain a positive, welcoming learning environment

Ideal Teaching Assistant:

  • Has experience working with children, ideally in a school setting (although this is not essential)
  • Holds or is working towards a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
  • Is enthusiastic, caring, and able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • Has a passion for education and supporting children to achieve their best
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills and can work well in a team
  • Has a positive and flexible approach to tasks and challenges as a Teaching Assistant.
