JOB DESCRIPTION

The I&E Planner position is a full-time role at Eastman located at the Pace, Florida facility. This position manages, implements, and controls the overall maintenance I&E planning process from conception to completion, including daily planning and support for turnaround planning. Responsibilities include:

• Planning, estimating, scheduling, and coordinating routine maintenance work, special orders, turnarounds, and other maintenance jobs.
• Performing detailed planning, including scope development, job step-outs, resource and manpower estimation, and safety planning such as PPE, fall hazard, and confined space plans.
• Preparing estimates for planned work using historical data and professional judgment.
• Preparing budgets, monitoring progress, and managing cash flow for various maintenance activities.
• Ensuring SOR approvals are initiated before job execution when estimates indicate exceeding the SOR amount.
• Coordinating turnaround activities during maintenance windows.
• Utilizing software packages (SAP, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Primavera) for data access, input, and retrieval, and basic math calculations.
• Working in a self-directed environment, following instructions, procedures, and safety policies.
• Availability for overtime, alternate schedules, and rotating shifts as required.

Interpersonal Requirements

• Good judgment, dependability, initiative, calmness during emergencies, and teamwork in diverse groups.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree and/or six years of relevant experience is a plus.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S., with a valid driver's license.
• Minimum five years of planning/scheduling experience in maintenance, projects, or turnarounds, preferably in refining, manufacturing, or petrochemicals.

Desirable Skills/Qualities

• Background in Industrial Instrumentation and Electrical work.
• Proficiency in SAP, Excel, Access, Primavera, with knowledge of safety, environmental policies, and quality control.
• Strong analytical, communication, multitasking, and leadership skills.
• Experience working with engineering and procurement contractors.
