Hamilton Specialist Referrals is a purpose-built state-of-the-art veterinary hospital which provides the latest in cutting-edge, specialist treatments for cats and dogs, supported by an exceptional rehabilitation and physiotherapy facility. As Team Leader, you will also guide and line manage our Medicine & Oncology Nurses & VCAs, with the support of our Nurse Manager.
As a key member of the nursing team, you will play a vital role in supporting the growth of our internal medicine and oncology departments, ensuring patients receive the highest level of care throughout their treatment. Your work will directly impact the well-being of patients while also providing crucial support to our specialists and clients during their treatment journey.

Hamilton Specialist Referrals was born of the belief that there is room for a new wave of veterinary excellence across the UK. There is a strong focus on providing a personal and reassuring client experience from first contact through to discharge. Excellent clinical care delivered in a friendly and supportive manner to referring vets, is paramount to the team. The hospital is operational 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and is able to offer the most advanced treatment options available for orthopaedic, neurology, soft tissue, oncology, and internal medicine cases.
A full-time position covers 40 hours per week, across 4 days. There is a 1 in 6 weekend rota (Sat & Sun), and you would ordinarily work 2 bank holidays per year. Shift times during the week are 9hrs 15mins, and typically fall between 07:30-20:00 on a mixture of early or late shifts.
