Job summary
A local delivery service provider in Derby is seeking a Van Driver. The role involves making deliveries with a 3.5t van from Monday to Friday, with possible weekend work. Experience in delivery driving and a Cat B licence are needed to ensure safe and efficient deliveries. The position offers £12.50 - £13.00 per hour PAYE and the opportunity for long-term placement based on performance.
Qualifications

Responsibilities
- Make 6-10 deliveries within the UK.
- Ensure load is stacked according to HSE and driver regulations.
Skills
HireGiant ltd are looking for a Van Driver to join our well-established client based in Derby City Centre, Derbyshire. This is for a local produce provider, the company are a well known in the food and beverage sector. You as the driver will need to completedeliveries of their goods toclients across the UK. There is a strong possibilityfor the courier driver to be placed on long term hireshould they perform well without any incidents, lateness and repeated infringements.
The 3.5 Tonne will be required to work Monday to Friday; they do have optional weekend work for those who want it.
The work starts immediately and involves making up to 6 - 10 deliveries on a chilled & frozen 3.5t van. Experience is needed due to the nature of the work, along with delivery driverexperience, you must also be competent with making sure the load is stacked securely to follow HSE and driver regulations.
The Delivery Driver will require:
- Cat B entitlement on their licence
- Safety Boots & Hi Viz Vest
Monday to Friday (optional weekends)
Start time between 05:00am & 08:00am (can accommodate earlier and later starts if prior agreed)
Shifts will be between 9 -11 hours
£12.50 - £13.00 per hour Monday to Friday PAYE to start
