BGEN is one of the UK's largest multidisciplinary design and build contractors with over 100 years of industry experience. We support clients in the Water, Power & Energy, Pharmaceutical, Nuclear and Food and Beverage industries to deliver next generation, value‑added engineering solutions.

This role can either be at our Penketh or Stafford office.

As a Junior Project Manager, you'll be a valued support to Delivery and Project Managers, helping bring programmes to life.

You'll assist with planning, coordination, and execution to keep projects on track and within budget.

From managing documentation to keeping communication flowing between teams and stakeholders, your role is all about making things run smoothly.

You will often take ownership of smaller tasks or workstreams, gaining hands‑on experience along the way.

With strong organisational and communication skills, you'll thrive in this collaborative environment and grow your career with opportunities to step into more senior roles over time.

• Proven ability to support project managers through all phases of delivery
• Strong planning skills, including experience with timelines, scope definition, and success metrics
• Excellent coordination capabilities across internal teams, suppliers, and contractors
• High attention to detail in maintaining organised and up‑to‑date documentation
• Clear and effective communication skills to ensure alignment across all stakeholders
• Experience in tracking project progress and providing regular updates
• Proactive mindset with a collaborative approach to problem‑solving and delivery
• Commitment to fostering a positive and well‑managed project environment
• Degree or further education in project management, business, or a related field – or equivalent experience
• Familiarity with project management software such as MS Project
• Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies
• Previous experience in a project support, administrative, or coordination role
