Salary: £46,525 with potential to rise to £54,735 over 3 years

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join NHS Supply Chain’s major transformation programme.

Every day you will …

• Be responsible for the effective delivery of your project(s), working closely with a programme manager and business owner. You will ensure the project objectives are clearly defined and achieved within the agreed time, cost and quality constraints.
• Work in collaboration with the service providers across NHS Supply Chain to ensure effective management and execution of your projects to deliver against elements of NHS Supply Chain’s modernisation programme.
• Lead and manage projects using agile and waterfall methodologies

What skills will help you thrive in this role?

• Experience in managing low complexity projects and/or projects within a broader programme
• Matrix management experience of project delivery teams
• A good understanding of project management methodologies (Waterfall / Agile) and change management principles
• Experience in project cost management across multiple delivery partners
• Relevant PPM qualification (e.g. APM, Prince 2) or equivalent level of experience
• Prior experience in managing change projects at all stages, from business analysis and requirement gathering through to execution and post go-live evaluation
• Verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to engage with technical and non-technical teams
• Proven stakeholder management skills
• Experience in managing third-party vendors (Desirable)
• Experience and knowledge of the healthcare sector, either public or private (Desirable)
• Good understanding of Logistics and Supply Chain organisations (Desirable)
• Relevant business change qualification (e.g. Prosci, ADKAR) or equivalent level of experience (Desirable)
