A leading electrical utilities contractor in the Midlands is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to oversee health, safety, environmental, and quality standards across the M1 corridor. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in HSEQ management, strong knowledge of UK legislation, and excellent leadership skills. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of £50,000 – £55,000 along with travel flexibility.

- Proven background in HSEQ management within utilities, electrical or construction sectors.
- Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation and ISO standards.
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across sites.
Responsabilités
- Lead and manage health safety environmental and quality standards across multiple sites.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to site teams and project managers.
- Conduct audits, inspections and risk assessments to maintain compliance.
- Develop and implement HSEQ initiatives, policies and continuous improvement programmes.
- Report on performance, investigate incidents and promote a proactive safety culture.

This is a key role ensuring compliance, driving safety culture and supporting operational teams in delivering high-quality safe and sustainable projects.
- Proven background in HSEQ management within utilities, electrical or construction sectors.
- Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation and ISO standards.
- NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) preferred.
- Excellent communication, leadership and influencing skills.
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across sites.
