Reporting to the Group Sustainability Transformation Director, the Sustainability Transformation Manager will play a critical role in the development and implementation of the organization's sustainability initiatives ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and standards including but not limited to the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive and the EU Sustainability Taxonomy (CSRD) and the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD). The successful candidate will also be responsible for planning and co-ordinating programme management, ensuring requirements are scoped, developed and translated into plans whilst ensuring delivery controls are in place (e.g. managing risks, issues, finances and timelines).
This position requires a dynamic and results-oriented individual who is passionate about sustainability and has a strong understanding of environmental management, social impact, systems, regulations and driving change within business through well managed programmes.
Routinely collaborate with peers, business and functional management teams, including GBS across the group to develop and integrate Environmental / ESG requirements into business operations and as part of delivery governance
Attend routine cross-functional CSRD / CSDD working groups
Collaborate daily across all business units and functions, spanning numerous levels working with senior leaders and subject matter experts
Work closely with the HSE, Environmental, Responsible Business, People, Legal and Finance teams
Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, ESG or other relevant field
At least 3 years of experience in ESG, sustainability, or related roles, with a proven track record of successful programme development and implementation
Project Management Qualifications such as Prince II, APM or Agile desirable
