An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Clinical/Forensic Psychologist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team at Forest Close. You will work with a supportive therapy team of psychologists, CAPS, assistant psychologist and music therapy across three wards at Forest Close. The role requires a candidate with experience and interest in working with people with complex mental health difficulties within an MDT. You will support and implement compassionate, high‑quality, evidence‑based care, with opportunities to be innovative and influential. • Provide specialist psychological assessment, formulation, and evidence‑based short‑term interventions for individuals and families/carers with complex and distressing psychological problems, including psychosis and complex trauma.
• Provide clinical leadership and contribute to a trauma‑informed and least restrictive environment by supporting staff in decision‑making and offering indirect support through team formulation, reflective practice, and individual supervision.
• Undertake Supervisor Training and Recognition (STAR) qualification and offer clinical supervision to others.
• Ensure clinical effectiveness of own practice and of service functioning by undertaking research and development activities relevant to inpatient rehabilitation settings.

• Post‑graduate, doctoral level training in clinical psychology as accredited by the HCPC/BPS.
• Registration with the HCPC as a Practitioner Psychologist, or imminently due to qualify and register.
• Forensic: BPS accredited Masters Degree/Supervised Practice in Forensic Psychology to doctoral level.
• Has a DClinPsy and HCPC registration or due to qualify and register by October.

• Experience of working with a wide variety of service user groups, across the whole life course presenting problems that reflect the full range of clinical severity.
• Experience of working with service users presenting with complex psychological difficulties.
• Evidence of being able to work effectively in multi‑disciplinary settings and teams.
• Experience working in inpatient and/or AMH rehabilitation.
