- Wash, peel, and cut ingredients (vegetables, fruits, meats, etc.).
- Pre-prepare products according to the cook’s instructions.
- Assist in the preparation of simple dishes.
- Help with the preparation of side dishes and basic sauces.
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
- Wash utensils, tools, and work surfaces.
- Assist with receiving deliveries.
- Properly store and label food items following hygiene standards.
- Carry out tasks assigned by the cook or head chef.
- Comply with food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Previous experience of at least 1 year in a professional kitchen.
- In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques, handling of utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
