Job summary
A childcare agency is seeking enthusiastic Unqualified Nursery Assistants to work in nurseries across Caterham, UK. You will support qualified staff in caring for children aged 0–5 years, assist with play and routines, and maintain a safe environment. No formal qualifications are needed, but a passion for working with children and experience are essential. This role offers competitive pay, flexible hours, and opportunities to gain relevant training and qualifications.

We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and caring Unqualified Nursery Assistants to work in a range of welcoming and supportive nurseries across Caterham and the surrounding areas.

As an Unqualified Nursery Assistant, you will:
- Support qualified staff in caring for children aged 0–5 years
- Assist with play activities, mealtimes, and personal care routines
- Help maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
- Build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents
- Always follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures
- No formal childcare qualification required
- 6 months minimum experience working with children
- A genuine passion for working with young children
- Reliable, friendly, and a good communicator
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check (we can assist with this)
