Job summary
A well-known security provider in London is urgently seeking Security Officers for permanent positions. Flexible day, night, and weekend shifts are available, with competitive pay rates ranging from £19.50 to £25.50 per hour. Responsibilities include patrolling premises, monitoring surveillance systems, and responding to incidents. Candidates should possess strong observational and communication skills, and maintain professionalism at all times.
Qualifications
- Ability to notice potential threats or suspicious behavior.
- Clear and effective communication for reporting and interacting with others.
- Ability to quickly assess situations and make sound decisions.
- Ability to de-escalate tense situations and find peaceful solutions.
- Familiarity with security equipment and basic computer applications.
- Ability to patrol and stand for extended periods.
- Maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
Responsibilities
- Regularly inspect buildings and perimeters to ensure security.
- Monitor CCTV cameras to respond to potential threats.
- Check identification and regulate access to restricted areas.
- Investigate alarms and handle emergencies appropriately.
- Ensure compliance with security policies.
- Maintain logs and communicate irregularities.
Skills
We are urgently looking for a number of Security Officers to join our team in London starting at the end of this month.
Permanent work offered.
Day , night and weekend shifts available
You can choose to work days or just nights + weekends
Day shifts 8 am till 6 pm or 8 am till 8 pm paying £19.50 hour
Night shifts 8 pm till 8 am paying £22.50 hour
Weekends and overtime paid at £25.50 hour
We pay weekly every Friday.
45-60 hours per week guaranteed.
- Patrolling and Securing: Regularly inspecting buildings, perimeters, and access points to ensure they are secure and free from hazards.
- Monitoring Surveillance Systems: Observing CCTV cameras and other security systems to identify and respond to potential threats or unusual activity.
- Controlling Access: Checking identification, logging entries and exits, and regulating access to restricted areas.
- Responding to Incidents: Investigating alarms, handling emergencies, and taking appropriate action to address safety or security concerns.
- Enforcing Regulations: Ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures, and resolving conflicts or disturbances.
- Reporting and Documentation: Maintaining logs, writing incident reports, and communicating any irregularities to the appropriate personnel.
- Observational Skills: Ability to notice potential threats or suspicious behaviour.
- Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication, both written and verbal, for reporting and interacting with others.
- Problem‑Solving Skills: Ability to quickly assess situations and make sound decisions.
- Conflict Resolution: Ability to de‑escalate tense situations and find peaceful solutions.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with security equipment, surveillance systems, and basic computer applications.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to patrol, stand for extended periods, and potentially handle physical situations.
