Qualifications
- Skilled tradesperson in carpentry, able to conduct repairs and PPM duties.
- Ability to work both in a team and independently, delivering quality finishes.
- Familiar with current legislation, British Standards, and safe working practices.
Responsibilities
- Attend to carpentry repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Identify problems and implement effective solutions.
- Minimize disruption to patients and visitors while conducting work.
We are looking to recruit a skilled tradesperson / Carpenter with a friendly and positive “can do” attitude. You will attend to carpentry repairs and PPM duties. You will have the skills and expertise to identify the problem(s) and fix issues within the NHS and Trust owned or run properties in the surrounding area. You will have the ability to carry out varied carpentry duties to a competent standard. You will be working in a team, and have the ability to undertake standalone tasks, with an emphasis on a quality finish, to meet our customers’ high expectations. You will conduct work in accordance with current legislation, British Standards, codes of practice, safe systems of work and recognised industry standards to minimise damage to the fabric of the property and to create minimal disruptions to our patients and visitors.

A Carpenter/Joiner will be employed to complete work appropriate to their core specialist skills and level of qualification.
