Job summary
A family support organization in Sunderland is seeking a Family Care & Support Worker to provide essential support to young people and their families, including those with disabilities. The role is part-time, 16 hours per week, with flexible hours covering early mornings and evenings. You must have the right to work in the UK. Join us in our mission to maintain outstanding care for children and make a difference in their lives.

- Provide support for young people and their families.
- Carry out personal care tasks and support access to recreational opportunities.
- Implement care plans with a flexible service during various hours.
Family Care & Support Worker
Grade 3 SCP 7-11 £26,403 - £28,142 pro rata
Part Time - 16 hours per week
Monday – Sunday between the house of 7.00am – 8.00pm

- Provide a range of support for young people and their families, including support for children and young people with a disability and/or complex needs.
- Carry out personal care tasks and support the child/young person to access play, recreation and leisure opportunities within the community, at home, or in a youth club provision.
- Contribute to the implementation of care plans by delivering a flexible service during the day, early mornings, evenings, weekends and during school holidays.
- Right to work in the UK by the commencement of employment (visa sponsorship: applications from all nationalities welcome).
