Science Technician

Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 3.30pm (30 hours per week) • October 2025

We are looking for a suitable candidate with laboratory experience or a scientific background to join our team of Science Technicians. The successful applicant will primarily be responsible for providing technical support within the Science Faculty, catering to students aged 11-19. Knowledge of General Science would be advantageous. We are open to considering part-time or flexible working hours.

• Provide technical support within the Science Faculty for students aged 11-19.
• Utilise laboratory experience or scientific background to assist with practical work and experiments.
• Maintain equipment and safety standards in line with school policies.

• Relevant laboratory experience or a scientific background; knowledge of General Science is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and commitment to the school ethos and standards.
• Flexibility regarding part-time or flexible working hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
