Senior Surveyor - On-Site Lead for New Build School (London)
Job summary
A leading recruitment firm in London is seeking a Senior Surveyor for a large new build school project in Harrow. The role involves overseeing all project areas, managing budgets, and working with sub-contractors to ensure smooth delivery. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record and relevant experience, particularly with school projects. This position is initially for 3-4 months, covering maternity leave, with potential for extension.
Qualifications
- Proven background of delivering projects under budget and working with sub-contractors.
- Experience covering all areas of the project from procurement through to agreeing valuations for sub-contractors.
- Experience of new build school projects is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Cover all areas of the project from procurement through to agreeing valuations for sub-contractors and dealing with problems quickly and efficiently.
- Be based on site with a Junior QS assisting you and oversee delivery to ensure the project runs smoothly.
