- Deliver noise modelling and acoustic assessments for aviation products using advanced simulation tools.
- Integrate noise control solutions into planning, design, and infrastructure projects in and around Southampton.
- Translate technical data into clear, actionable insights for clients, regulators, and stakeholders.
- Prepare detailed reports, assessments, and recommendations.
- Lead projects from concept through to delivery, ensuring outcomes meet time, cost, and quality targets.
We are looking for candidates with:
- A degree in Acoustics, Aerodynamics, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Experience in aviation noise and vibration, ideally in product development or aircraft engine acoustics.
- Strong ability with noise modelling software and understanding of aviation noise impact mechanisms.
- Excellent analytical, reporting, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A collaborative approach and enthusiasm for innovation.
- Membership/Chartership with IOA or IMechE.
- Experience with sound insulation schemes or public consultation.
