Job summary
A global leader in high-performance components is seeking a Process Technician in Fareham for a 6-month contract. The role involves reworking components according to IPC standards and documentation, along with maintaining business systems. Ideal candidates will have at least two years of experience in a similar role, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years in a similar production role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Competency with Microsoft Office tools.
Responsibilities
- Compile test reports and complete relevant documentation as required.
- Conduct rework activities and modifications following IPC standards.
- Update and maintain business information systems appropriately.
- Conduct basic test routines at sub-assembly and GA levels.
- Build assemblies according to the appropriate procedures.

Role Summary:
The Process Technician will be responsible for the rework and modifications to various components and in accordance to IPC standards.
Core Responsibilities:
- Compile Test reports and complete relevant documentation as and when required
- Conduct various rework activities and modifications in accordance with IPC standards
- Update and maintain business information systems as appropriate
- Conduct basic test routines at sub-assembly and GA levels
- Build assemblies in accordance with the appropriate procedures
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
- Knowledge and experienced gained from a minimum of two years in a similar production role
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Competent user of Microsoft office packages including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Must have a methodical and analytical approach to work
