Job summary

A leading manufacturing company seeks an experienced Assembly Operative skilled in Pressure Testing. In this role, you will be responsible for testing aerospace components to high standards, following technical specifications, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety regulations. Ideal candidates will possess a strong manufacturing background and experience with engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• Experience in Pressure Testing and basic manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Run programmes testing high pressure hoses to technical standards.
• Test samples to destruction.
• Inspect work to quality standards and issue relevant certificates.

Skills

Pressure Testing experience

Basic manufacturing/engineering background

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

Health and Safety policies knowledge

Basic PC Skills

Familiar with engineering hand tools

Understanding of measuring equipment

Are you an experienced Assembly Operative with demonstrable Pressure Testing experience? You could be progressing your career at a world class and very successful Manufacturing company who have been awarded multiple queens awards and provide a range of complex safety equipment for the Aerospace / Defence markets. Based in a busy assembly department, you will be Pressure Testing assembled aerospace components to a high standard of quality Responsibilities:

• Run programmes that test high pressure hoses to required technical and quality standards
• Test samples to destruction
• Follow design documents and technical specifications when setting up programmes
• Inspect work to quality standards, issuing relevant certificates and stamps

Required Skills and Experience:

• Pressure Testing experience
• Basic manufacturing/engineering background
• Experience of reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Background in Health and Safety policies and procedures / QAI’s and COSHH regulations.
• Basic PC Skills
• Familiar with engineering hand tools.
• Basic understanding of measuring equipment
