Amentum is the Design and Engineering partner for Sellafield under the PPP (Programme and Project Partners). This is a 20-year arrangement to deliver ~£7bn of major projects. We are looking to recruit high value expertise from across regulated and comparable sectors to work in a collaborative environment. PPP is delivering major projects, site wide improvements and provision of supporting services.

The Sellafield Product & Residue Store (SPRS) Retreatment Plant (SRP) Project will provide a facility that receives Special Nuclear Material (SNM) from existing stores across the Sellafield site and processes it into a form suitable for safe and secure storage until 2120.

To support the delivery of the SRP Project, we are seeking a Senior Mechanical Building Services Engineer to join the design team based in Warrington.

The SRP Project is currently in the Construction phase which incorporates procurement, manufacture, works test, installation, and commissioning. This role is required to provide both design support activities to the supply chain, along with completion of outstanding design scope from earlier project phases.

As a Senior Mechanical Building Services Engineer, your responsibilities could include:

• Managing and directing designers in delivery of HVAC nuclear containment systems, to include plant and equipment drawings and documents (e.g. Ventilation Flow Diagrams/ Basis of Design/ Schedules/ Specifications).

• Prioritising work to support manufacturing.

• Experience and working knowledge of plant layout, set up, installation and alignment of plant and equipment for works testing and site installation.

• Interaction with multi-discipline engineers to ensure complete multi-disciplinary design interactions/interfaces are addressed.

• Experience in providing support to resolution of manufacturing, inspection and test Technical Queries/production permits/concessions

As a Senior Mechanical Building Services Engineer, you will already have:

• Experience in the use of AutoCAD

• Experience in production and checking of Design justification reports (DJRs)

• Retrieval of information from DM desktop and other record management systems

• Experience in designing in a nuclear/highly regulated environment

• Experience and working knowledge of CDM, SoMSR, PUWER & LOLER

• Experience with Pipenet software
