SRG are working with a multinational company specializing in the creation of speciality chemicals for various markets. They are looking to add an Applications & Development Chemist to their industrial technical team at their Cheshire site.

1. Support in the development and formulation of surfactant-based products for various sectors.
2. Manage projects from inception to commercialization.
3. Assist in testing new products using standard lab equipment, including performance and stability assessments.
4. Communicate testing results with technical and commercial teams.
5. Collaborate with internal teams and external testing facilities.
6. Manage internal and customer projects within specified timelines.
7. Produce laboratory-scale samples and maintain accurate records.
8. Prepare technical reports and presentations for internal use.
9. Review patent literature to ensure market readiness without legal issues.

• Degree in Chemistry.
• Recent industrial experience in developing and testing surfactant-based products.
• Backgrounds in personal care, homecare, coatings, pigments, adhesives, or construction (gypsum and mortar additives) are considered.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Familiarity with basic analytical chemistry techniques.
