Procurement/Contracts Lawyer - to join Legal Services at West Yorkshire Police
Location: Legal Services, Police Headquarters, Wakefield
This post is permanent, full time - 37 hours per week – flexible and hybrid working, and suitable for job share
Salary: Solicitors Grade Scheme - £52,128* - £72,492* (*to increase in line with any police staff pay award)
A qualified and experienced procurement/contracts law specialist is sought to advise West Yorkshire Police. The successful candidate will join an established in-house team, handling a comprehensive range of contracts/procurement work, legal advice and commercial support to the Force.
We can provide flexible working (including a blend of home and office working), and an opportunity to progress annually through the pay grades (starting salary will be determined by experience).
Experience of police work is not essential, and we would be interested to hear from candidates with experience in private and public sector organisations.
