Location: Hyde, Tameside
Salary: £600 £800 per week (ECTs welcome paid to scale for long-term roles)
Contract: January to July

About the Role

We re looking for a confident, enthusiastic Year 6 Teacher to join a lovely primary school in Hyde from January 2026 through to the end of the school year. If you re passionate about helping children achieve their best and want to join a supportive, welcoming team, this could be the perfect fit.

You ll be taking on a friendly Year 6 class of around 30 pupils, with the support of a fantastic Teaching Assistant. The school has a great team spirit staff share ideas, work closely together, and really care about creating a positive environment for the children.

What You ll Be Doing
  • Planning and delivering lessons that prepare Year 6 for SATs while keeping learning fun and meaningful
  • Adapting work so all pupils can make progress, including those needing extra support
  • Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and the wider school team
What We re Looking For
  • QTS or PGCE
  • Experience teaching in a primary setting, ideally KS2
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Someone positive, flexible, and passionate about making a difference
