Salary: Dependent on experience & qualifications, commensurate with industry standards

Job Type: Full Time, Fixed Term Contract (5th January 2026 - 1st July 2026)

Job Hours: Monday - Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm

About Us: Moulsford Prep School is an independent preparatory school for 330 pupils, aged 3 to 13, situated on an idyllic 30-acre site on the banks of the River Thames, near Wallingford in South Oxfordshire. Formerly an all-boys school, Moulsford is now co-educational from Pre-School to Year 3 with girls progressing through the school year on year, becoming fully co-educational by 2030. Year 5 is currently all boys. Moulsford aims to nurture the whole child, providing opportunities for each individual to develop their talents and abilities. The School recognises the importance of creating the right work/life balance, of nurturing and developing staff, and creating a community.

The Role: This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving Prep School teaching all subjects across the curriculum to Year 5. The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching, the ability to inspire and enthuse pupils and a desire to get involved in many areas of school life, including coaching sport if this is an interest. This is a fixed-term contract from 5th January 2026 - 1st July 2026 with the possibility to become permanent depending on the candidate and the requirements of the school.
