Year 5 Teacher

Are you an experienced Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity in Margate? Simply Education is working with a school that is looking to appoint a Year 5 Teacher, starting immediately until the end of the academic year. This is a full-time, long-term position.

Roles and responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons across various subjects in line with the school curriculum and educational objectives.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and positive behaviour among students.
  • Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing feedback and support to facilitate their academic development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources, sharing best practices and insights.
Requirements
  • Obtain teaching QTS.
  • Showcase creativity and adaptability to design and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to meet diverse students' needs.
  • Possess strong knowledge of pedagogical theories, child development principles, and teaching strategies appropriate for the primary school age group.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills to engage with students, colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders.
  • You’ll be required to have an Enhanced DBS.
