Year 5 Behaviour Teaching AssistantResponsibilities:

As Year 5 Behaviour Teaching Assistantin this outstanding school in Tower hamlets, you will:

• Provide dedicated support in the mornings, focusing on assisting a Year 5 student withbehavioral aspects SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs, including ADHD diagnosis and potential self-harming behavior.
• Offer crucial assistance in the afternoons, aiding Year 5 students and remaining flexible to work across Key Stages 1 and 2.
• Implement strategies and interventions to manage challenging behaviors effectively.
• Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment to promote the student's social and emotional development.
• Collaborate closely with teachers and SENCO to ensure individualized support plans are implemented successfully.
• Monitor and record the student's progress, adapting support strategies as necessary.
