Job summary

A primary school in the UK is looking for a highly motivated teacher to cover a 12-month maternity leave starting March 2026. The Governors and Senior Leadership Team at St Thomas’s C.E. Primary School invites applications to join our friendly, hardworking and inspiring school community. We are looking to appoint a highly motivated teacher who is passionate about inspiring all children to learn.

We are looking for someone with enthusiasm, energy and the ability to be a key part of the wider school community to cover a 12-month maternity leave position.

The successful candidate will be able to create an engaging, exciting, child‑centred learning environment where high expectations and standards enable pupils to fulfil their potential.

The successful candidate will embody our ethos of forgiveness, respect, service & truthfulness.

We are seeking an exceptional teacher who is:
