Responsibilities

• Operating a counterbalance forklift to safely load, unload, and move materials within the yard.
• Ensuring the yard is maintained in a clean, organized, and safe condition at all times.
• Assisting with the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
• Conducting routine checks and maintenance of the forklift to ensure it remains in optimal working condition.
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient yard operations.

Qualifications

• A valid counterbalance forklift certificate (essential).
• Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Day-to-Day

• Starting your shift at 8:00 AM and finishing at 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
• Operating the forklift to handle materials and goods as required.

• Performing routine checks on equipment and reporting any issues promptly.
• Maintaining a safe and organized working environment.
