Job summary

A community primary school in West Byfleet is seeking an enthusiastic Breakfast and After School Club Assistant. The role involves delivering supervision and support to children and being a positive role model. Ideal candidates will have excellent interpersonal skills, behaviour management experience, and a flexible approach to work. This position is part-time, with working hours from 07:30 to 08:45 and 15:15 to 17:45 on Monday and Tuesday. The contract is fixed until 31/08/2026.

Breakfast and After School Club Assistant

Working Hours: 07:30am to 08:45am Plus 3:15pm to 5:45pm (3.75 hours / day)

Monday and Tuesday only (Term time only)

Fixed Term Contract until 31/08/2026

Salary: SP3 £24,330

Actual: £2,124 pro rata

Start Date: As soon as possible

Byfleet Primary is a popular, village school looking for an enthusiastic Breakfast and After School Club Assistant to join our supportive team. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, energetic, flexible, and confident individual with excellent interpersonal and behaviour management skills. They will assist and support the other Breakfast Club members to deliver supervision and support to the children within the club. The post-holder will be a positive role model for all children.

We are a busy and friendly school, with an ethos throughout of Learning, Caring and Sharing. Our school is a happy place to learn and to work with a close-knit staff and we aim is to make the learning engaging with a level of challenge which encourages our pupils to develop resilience, independence and persistence.
