Overview

Miller’s Vanguard, a Specialist Maintenance Provider for Bakery, Catering and Supermarket Access Equipment are looking for an experienced technician to join their workshop-based team at Mossfield Mill. The purpose of the role is primarily the stripping of Bakery & Catering equipment. Whilst working individually for the most part, the successful candidate will also be part of a strong team, working together to meet targets and maintain quality of the highest standard, providing reliable assets to some of the UK’s leading supermarkets.

Responsibilities
  • Strip bakery and catering equipment in preparation for refurbishment or reconditioning.
  • Complete tasks efficiently and to a high standard within specified timeframes.
  • Identify and report any damaged components requiring replacement or repair before handover to the Re-Build Department.
  • Collaborate effectively with the workshop team to maximize efficiency.
  • Undertake other reasonable duties as assigned by the Workshop Manager.

  • Prior experience working with catering and bakery equipment.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and bench fitting techniques.
