This role offers a structured Monday-Friday schedule with potential overtime.

Qualifications

Overview

Unify are delighted to be recruiting for a Workshop Foreman to work from Bradford. You will be joining a leading provider of Plant Hire and Haulage service throughout the UK who are currently undergoing remarkable growth.

As the foreman you will be collaborating with the Service Team to complete priority tasks and coordinate with the Hire Desk to ensure timely preparation and dispatch of outgoing assets.

Requirements
  • Prior experience working on Plant Machinery
  • Qualification in Heavy vehicle / Plant Maintenance and repair (NVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent)
  • Strong mechanical knowledge
  • Experience managing a team and own workload
Responsibilities
  • Ensure consistent compliance with health and safety regulations across all workshop operations
  • Maintain a clean, well-organised, and efficient workshop environment
  • Assign scheduled and priority tasks to team members to support workflow and productivity
  • Carry out pre-delivery inspections on machinery before it goes out on hire
  • Perform routine maintenance across the fleet to ensure equipment is hire-ready
  • Complete minor mechanical repairs as needed
  • Carry out major repair work on various types of machinery and equipment
  • Order and manage parts through the parts department to support repair and maintenance tasks
Hours

Monday - Friday 7am - 5pm, Overtime available
