Overview

Job Title: Working Foreman – Solar Farm Project
Location: East Hanningfield, Essex
Start Date: End of October 2025
Duration: 11 Months (long-term contract)
Rate: £23.00 – £26.00 per hour (PAYE through agency)

Responsibilities
  • Leading by example with a “hands-on” approach to site work
  • Supervising trades and labour to ensure productivity and quality
  • Enforcing site health & safety standards
  • Assisting with scheduling, inductions and toolbox talks
  • Reporting daily progress and any issues to the Site Supervisor/Manager
Requirements
  • Valid SSSTS qualification (essential)
  • Proven track record as a Foreman on construction or renewable energy projects (solar experience an advantage)
  • CSCS card preferred
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to balance on-the-tools work with supervision duties
