Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Workday Reporting Consultant with strong Prism expertise to join our team and help our clients maximize their use of Workday's advanced reporting and analytics capabilities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience developing custom reports using Workday Report Writer, including advanced, matrix, and composite reports, and will be confident working directly with stakeholders to translate business needs into meaningful insights. Only experienced Workday professionals with advanced reporting skills should apply.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their reporting needs
  • Understand business processes and translate that knowledge into actionable insights in reports
  • Create custom reports and analytics using Workday report writer
  • Prioritize incoming reporting requests and other work to ensure client needs are met
  • Analyze report data and provide significant insights and analysis to stakeholders
  • Help to develop and maintain a data dictionary
  • Deliver training and support to end-users on how to run and interpret reports, when needed
  • Stay ahead of Workday's latest reporting features and functionality

Only experienced Workday consultants may apply.

As a member of the VR team, you will have the flexibility to manage your day, as long as you meet your set objectives and client demands. Often your team will be a mix of on-site and remote-based members who connect using IM, video calls and an online ticketing system. Good communication skills and time management are essential for this role.

Qualifications

Our roles are remotely based (even pre-Covid), meaning you will be working from your home office, connecting with your client and team on a daily basis.

To be successful in this type of environment, you will need to have the ability to communicate effectively (in English) with cross-functional teams, explain complex concepts in easy, understandable terms, align HR / business knowledge with Workday functionality, and proactively drive process improvements. You will need to be comfortable with video calls and be proactive in keeping communication channels open with your client and team.

  • Familiarity with data governance and privacy practices in reporting and analytics
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate cross-functionally
  • High attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality reports
  • Strong time management, prioritization, and interpersonal skills
  • Workday certification required in Reporting, Prism Analytics, or relevant functional areas
Additional qualifications
