Job description

Job Title: Wills & Probate Solicitor

Location: Poynton, Cheshire

We’re working with a small, well-regarded law firm that’s looking for a Wills & Probate Solicitor who genuinely cares about getting things right for people at important stages of their lives. If you prefer a calmer, more personal environment over a busy corporate setup, you’ll probably feel at home here.

About the role

You’ll guide clients through decisions that often feel overwhelming, helping them understand their options without unnecessary jargon.

You’ll handle everything from the initial meeting through to estate distribution, working closely with executors, beneficiaries and families. There’s plenty of autonomy, but also the support of an experienced team when needed.

About the client

Our client is an independent, long-standing legal practice with a strong focus on private client and conveyancing work. They’re known locally for being steady, approachable and straightforward in how they work.

The team is small, friendly, and values a practical approach no red tape or layers of hierarchy. You’ll be trusted to run your caseload, build relationships with clients, and do your work in a way that reflects real care and attention.
