Qualifications

• Must have experience in a relevant care environment.
• Willingness to work towards required qualifications.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Wellbeing Assistants and volunteers.
• Create a diverse programme of activities for residents.
• Understand residents' needs and develop care plans.
• Manage duty rosters, covering evenings and weekends.

Skills

Experience of working in a Day Centre with older people and/or dementia

Understanding of running hobby, interest groups and health and wellbeing services

Education

Level 3 Supporting Activity Provision in Social Care

Level 3 Team Leader/Supervisory Award or equivalent
